Italian Dolomites

Alta Via 1, Alta Via 2, Best of Northern Dolomites, Exploring Alta Badia… the Italian Dolomites holds a piece of my heart. The soaring walls of glowing Dolomitic rock, the mixture of three cultures, the Great War history, the incredible cuisine and the stunning wild flowers.

Swiss Via Alpina

Starting in Liechtenstein and finishing on the shores of Lac Leman, this ___km Swiss variation of the Via Alpina is epic. Gradually working your way up through quaint little-visited valleys to the famous mountaineering town of Grindelwald, it then traverses under the striking Berner Oberland range.

Chamonix to Zermatt Haute Route

Connecting two of the most iconic mountain towns in the Alps, if not the world, this traverse crosses the Pennine Alps from West to East, crossing incredible montain passes and beautiful Swiss valleys branching off from the Rhone valley.

Slovenian Julian Alps

Smaller but by no means not as mighty, this range offers some difficult rewarding hiking along less frequented trails. The dramatic Karst landscape and turquoise blue lakes are an insiders tip.
